We are open from Victoria Day Long weekend to the Thanksgiving Weekend; however, there is always someone available to answer your questions via phone or email – high or low season.

During our off season, please allow for 24 hours for a response.

WHEN AND WHERE DO I CHECK-IN?

Guests will be able to check-in after 4:00 PM and 8 PM on the arrival date at the Main Office; please make arrangements prior to date of arrival if you will be arriving after 8 PM.

WHAT TIME IS CHECK-OUT?

Guests are asked to check-out at 10:00 AM on the departure date.

Sunday check out time: 5 pm

ARE THE RATES UP TO DATE AND ACCURATE?

Yes, the rates indicated are accurate under each of the cottages/units.

However, for weekend or mid-week rental rates please do contact us directly.

WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept E-transfers, Cash, and all major credit cards – Visa & MasterCard. Sorry, we do not accept AMEX and any form of cheque.

WHAT TAXES AND SERVICES CHARGES ARE ADDED TO MY ACCOUNT?

There is no additional service charge other then what you have opted for; HST is applicable and will be added to your subtotal, REGARDLESS of method of payment and NO EXCEPTIONS!

DO YOU CHARGE FOR PARKING, RESORT FEES OR INTERNET?

There are no Resort Fees or any additional fees for internet access. However, the number of parking spots are allocated accordingly to the number of guests. Otherwise, any vehicles exceeding the allotted amount will be asked to pay an additional charge.

ARE YOU PET FRIENDLY?

Yes, we do allow pets with an additional cost of $10 per day for smaller breeds and $15 for bigger breeds. We can accommodate only two dogs in each cottage, and If you stay for one week, only five days is calculated.

***NOTE: Dogs are not allowed in the Condo units.

DO YOU HAVE BOAT DOCKING AND LAUNCH?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own boat, but please ensure to inform us as soon as possible as we do have limited space for boat docking.

There is a surchage of $10 -$15 daily to $50-$75 weekly, depending on the size of your boat.

Boat that are docking with us may launch on site, free of charge.

Note, there is no boat rental permitted from another Rental Company, unless arrangements have been made and has been confirmed that we do not carry a similar vessel. If arrangements have been made, note they are not permitted to launch on our site and must do so off-site.

HOW MUCH DO YOU HAVE TO DEPOSIT AND WHEN IS THE REST DUE?

The initial deposit is anywhere between 25%- 65% of the total amount – depending on how far in advance you book. Then the balance will be due 7 days prior to your arrival.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

We will try to amend your cottage dates, minus the 25% non-refundable deposit and an administration fee of $75.00, plus HST, subject to our availability, and carry over the remainder of the monies paid for the rest of the season.

Please note that we will require at least 60 days’ notice. If cancellation falls within 60 days, then no refunds shall apply. However, we will attempt to re-rent the cottage for the original dates booked. If successful, the second deposit will be refunded minus any administration fees. However, we will happily forward the entire deposit to a new date without penalty.

***NOTE: no refunds will be issued for unused days or early departures, and a 25% deposit is non-refundable

WHEN SHOULD I MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR A BIG GROUP AND WHEN IS DEPOSIT REQUIRED?

With the limited number of available cottages, and to ensure that you have the cottage of your choice, we highly recommend that you book your cottages as soon as possible. The deposit is required in order to confirm the booking of the cottages.

WHAT AMENITIES DO YOU HAVE ON SITE?

We have two children’s playgrounds, a trampoline, Salt Water Swimming Pool, Canoes, Kayaks, Boat Rentals, Jetski Rentals, Paddleboard rentals, wi-fi and TVs in every unit.

WILL YOUR SWIMMING POOL BE OPEN THIS YEAR?

We will be opening our pool if we are permitted to do so under the guidence of the Peterborough Health Unit

ARE CAMPFIRES ALLOWED?

Yes, campfires are allowed, but for the safety of our other patrons, each cottage has designated spot campfires only permitted there.

***NOTE: Campfires must be supervised at all times.

DO YOU SUPPLY FIREWOOD FOR COTTAGES?

No, we do not supply firewood, however, you will be able to purchase them as we do have a limited supply in stock.

DO YOU HAVE CLEANING SERVICES?

Currently, we do not offer a cleaning service.

ARE THERE LAUNDRY FACILITIES FOR GUESTS?

We do have laundry facilities on site available for use.
